About TravelMatrix

Independent connectivity research for digital nomads and remote workers navigating European mobile data options.

Independence Statement

This website is an independent informational resource and is not affiliated with telecom operators, mobile carriers, government agencies, or official eSIM providers. Our editorial content is produced independently and is not influenced by commercial relationships with any provider in the travel connectivity market.

Our Mission

TravelMatrix was founded by digital nomads who experienced firsthand the frustration of navigating travel connectivity decisions with only provider marketing materials and affiliate-driven comparison sites as guides. We built the resource we wished had existed when we started our nomad journeys.

Our mission is to provide honest, independent research on travel connectivity for the nomad community. We cover eSIM technology, provider market dynamics, country-specific connectivity, and the practical considerations that matter for people who work remotely while traveling.

We do not accept payment for editorial coverage, maintain no commercial relationships with providers, and are not affiliated with any telecommunications company. Our independence is the foundation of our usefulness to the community we serve.

Editorial Standards

Independent Research

All research is conducted independently using publicly available information. We do not accept press releases or provider-supplied content without independent verification.

Corrections Policy

We correct errors promptly with dated correction notices. Reader corrections are welcomed at [email protected].

Commercial Independence

No payment accepted for editorial coverage or favorable placement. If we ever introduce advertising, it will be clearly disclosed and editorially separated.

Community Focus

Our research is specifically designed for nomads and remote workers, not generic travelers. We prioritize the considerations that matter for people who depend on connectivity for their work.
